I pulled this one from the archives. I discovered this structure while walking down 11th Avenue in Manhattan in 2006. I didn't know what it was at the time, but have since learned. It turns out that the Titanic was supposed to dock here

You are looking at a support spacer thing for a giant pane of glass. I found this on top of the Women In Military Service For America Memorial in Arlington National Cemetary.

Water Spigot

I photographed this water spigot in Arlington National Cemetary. I often enjoy photographing old, rusty things. I was amused when taking this photo because several passersby were trying desperately to figure out what I was photographing. It must have seemed strange for a guy with a "fancy" camera to be taking a photo of an old spigot when he is standing in the midst of hundreds of tourists all photographing the rows of headstones.
