I spotted this spider crawling across a sidewalk at the University of Kentucky last weekend. He appeared to be injured and was moving quite slowly giving me ample time to switch to my macro lens. He cooperated by staying perfectly still while I took his photo. As soon as I stood up to walk away he resumed his trek across the sidewalk.
