Bird have many friend

I’m posting this photo mainly for the story. I was in Denver in 2005 for work. At some point several of us went on a drive to sightsee and take photos. At one scenic overlook we happened upon this bird sitting on a stone wall. The bird was not scared of us so we proceeded to photograph the hell out of it. An Asian tourist was standing nearby and said to us in broken English, “Bird have many friend.” I’m guessing you had to be there, but “Bird have many friend” was a hit. And now, thanks to the miracle of the internet, bird have many more friend. Here’s a link to Thomas’ photos of the same bird.
