
This is my fake HDR photo of a gas station. It looks like a processed HDR, but it’s not. I was able to achieve this look solely using Adobe Lightroom. The photo was overexposed by a stop or two and pulled back down. I gave it a very low contrast and slightly desaturated it for this look. This gas station is located on Hwy 192 in Melbourne, FL just west of I-95.

And it looks to have been closed for some time. Strange, I would not even have picked it as an HDR, fake or otherwise.
oh, cool locations for taking pictures. Somehow reminds me to the gas-sstations in sicily in the middle of nowhere. nice find!

I labeled this photo as a fake HDR because I actually did make an HDR using Photomatix. This photo looks almost identical to the one that Photomatix cranked out. It almost has a cartoony feel to it.
