I snapped this photo at the British Museum back in December of 2005. —Paxton

Hurricane Leftovers
I found this photo in my 2004 archives. I took it right after Melbourne, FL was hit by hurricane Jeanne. This thing was sitting out in front of what was left of a house on the beach. —Paxton

Symmetrical Stairs
This is my 50th post. In celebration of 50 images posted I am posting one of my favorites. I took this photo in April of 2004 on the campus of Georgetown University in Washington, DC. This image doesn’t work in color at all. The contrast and symmetry really help to sell it. —Paxton

Log Fence
This photos was taken July, 2005 in Rocky Mountain national park in Colorado. I think you are looking at a fence. —Paxton

King Vulture
I snapped this photo of a king vulture at the Brevard Zoo. It turned out much better than I anticipated given that I was taking this photo through a mesh cage. —Paxton

Old Door
I thought I would try something a little bit more “abstract” today. It’s a door on a river boat in La Crosse, Wisconsin. I made it black and white to help along its run down look. —Paxton
